Francis Carryl – Consultant to the Labour Department A Specialist in the field, Mr. Francis Carryl’s association with the Labour Ministry began in 1984 when he served in the Labour Department rising from Labour Officer to Assistant Chief Labour Officer (ag) before leaving in 1995. From then to 2014, he worked in the Industrial Relations Unit of the Guyana Sugar Corporation as Industrial Relations Officer, Industrial Relations Manager and subsequently Chief Industrial Relations Manager. He rejoined the Ministry of Labour in 2014 as a Consultant.

Mr. Carryl’s academic qualifications include, a Diploma in Public Communication, a Degree in Public Administration, and a Certificate in International Relations from the University of Guyana; and an Executive Diploma in Management and Certificates in Labour Administration, Professional HRM, and Interpersonal Communication Skills from the University of the West Indies.
